TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions prior to our consultation or the purchase of a guide. If consulting with me, indicate that you have read and accepted them on the sleep diary which has been sent to you, or for services that do not require this you will be asked to confirm acceptance of terms and conditions following receipt of our contract. 


Disclaimer

Thank you for considering working with me. My support is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, lactation, psychological, therapeutic care and I do not offer counselling, diagnosis, treatment or any other type of medical care. is also not a substitute for counseling, diagnosis, treatment or any other type of medical care. Please consult your doctor or other suitably qualified professional if you have any concerns regarding you or your child’s health or well-being.


Scope of practice

When working together we will work together to assess your situation, I will provide reassurance, support and education and seek to find a solution that is suitable and sustainable for you and your family. I will take into consideration your individual circumstances, needs, goals, preferences, parenting style and beliefs and will use my training and experience to educate, advise and make evidence based suggestions. It is your choice as to whether you decide to implement any techniques I propose and you are responsible for committing to any changes you wish to make. 


I am a holistic sleep coach, by working with me you agree that we are consulting in regards to sleep and wellbeing alone. Any other concerns or queries should be addressed separately by an alternative practitioner.


By choosing to work with me, you agree that:

  1. You will work within safe sleep guidelines (www.lullabytrust.org.uk

  2. You will disclose any relevant medical issues for your little person.

  3. You understand that safeguarding children is paramount and, therefore, if I am concerned for the welfare of your child for any reason, I have a duty to report this to the relevant health and/or safeguarding service in your local area. This will always be with your knowledge except in cases where the immediate safety of the child takes priority. 

  4. You understand that you will be providing certain personal details which are required to be kept. All information will never be shared with any other third party unless otherwise agreed for individual reasons. 

  5. Once we have agreed to work together you will be sent a contract confirming the service that has been requested, the full amount to be paid and details in relation to individual elements to be provided under the service. Your booking will not be fixed until payment is received and no work will commence, including pre-analysis analysis of sleep questionnaire/diary. will require payment in full. If no payment is made at the latest 72 hours prior to the agreed service date or following receipt of completed documents (whichever comes first) then we will need to rearrange to allow time for my pre-consult analysis and planning.  Troubleshooting calls also require payment at the time of booking. Your sleep support is bespoke to you, and should not be shared with other third parties, as the information may not be relevant.

  6. In the case of a troubleshooting call, this is not a substitute for a fully comprehensive sleep package. I will do my best to brainstorm your concerns with you but I will not be analysing a full sleep diary and questionnaire or providing detailed recommendations. Further support may be required, depending on the individual situation. 

  7. Any follow up support is generally only available within the hours of 9am - 8pm (GMT) may be flexible with this at times but generally will not respond to contact outside of this. I will aim wherever possible to respond to any follow up contact within the same day. Follow up communication will generally be initiated by the customer in order for them to lead on when this is best suited. Any follow up telephone calls will be mutually agreed in previous communications. I will advise you when any follow up support is closing/expiring/ and additional support can be purchased if required. 


Guarantees

Use of my services is designed to offer reassurance, support, education and evidence based information. I cannot and do not guarantee a particular outcome or result, within a particular time frame. This is based on the belief that every little person and set of circumstances is completely unique, as is how every plan is implemented, therefore there are too many variables to guarantee a specific outcome. I will never use cry-it-out, or versions of this and will only recommend responsive techniques.


Equality and non-discriminatory practice

I promote an inclusive, non-judgemental service, and will not knowingly discriminate against anyone on the basis of their race, sexual orientation, parenting style, disability, cultural beliefs, marital status or religion. If there is anything you would like me to be aware of, please make this clear at the beginning of the consultation.


Cancellation / Refund policy

It is your right to cancel at any time prior to commencing if you do not feel that my services are right for you or your family. For cancellations/rescheduling made more than 48 hours before a consultation there will be no charge. For cancellations less than 48 working hours prior to the appointment, a 50% refund will be issued. If I have to cancel, I will offer an alternative appointment which will be mutually convenient to both parties.

If, after reading your sleep diary, I feel that a different approach with an alternate practitioner would be better suited to the situation, then I will issue a full refund. 

All services are completely non-refundable once commenced, from the point of initial consultation. 


Purchasing E-guides and courses

Due to the nature of a digital sale, all sales are final.

Once you have access to any digital content purchased, you no longer have the right to cancel that purchase or claim a refund, as the product is unable to be returned.

Confidentiality 

I try to limit personal data but there is some necessary information gathering involved in working together. Anything personal date or information will be kept completely confidential.
